Les fichiers sur le disque USB devraient également être accessibles dans /mnt/dietpi_userdata si tu as utilisé le menu set user-data location de dietpi-software. D'après le message d'erreur que tu as posté il y a un problème de permissions en FAT32 mais cela n'empêche peut être pas de lire.

Essaye tout de même ce que donne dans DietPi la commande terminal:

Fais les essais avec ta clé USB dans un premier temps pour ne pas prendre de risques avec ta bibliothèque.
Vérifie que tu as bien fais le set-data location sur la clé après avoir rebooté avec celle-ci en place.
