Je viens de faire le test en le LOG de Diretta Host depuis GP

Avec Audirvana Studio
Un fois lancé le log avec la musique, AS se stoppe, je relance play et ca dure quelque seconds le temps que j'ai des valeurs, mais ensuite AS ne lit plus et j'ai des valeurs 0.0000

J'ai mis en gras noir les points stop et au moment que AS ne lit plus.

@Janacek: tu sembles partager un log sur le target c'est juste ?
Si c'est le cas, cela n'a pas grand sens, de mon point de vue. Il vaut mieux, me semble-t-il, activer la fonction log sur le serveur (dans le fichier .inf) en mettant la valeur Debug=stdout. Ensuite, tu pourras voir comment se comporte ton système avec une commande du genre:
journalctl -u diretta_sync_host -n 1000 --no-pager sous réserve que le service s'appelle de la même façon sous GP.
Sinon, je passe la main aux experts de GP.

Pour finir avec mes observations, je n'ai pas noté de variation significative du comportement du jitter tel que mesuré comme indiqué précédemment, en fonction de la version du logiciel Diretta ni du target utilisé.

Je laisse donc le champ libre à ceux qui voudraient faire avancer la science avec leurs observations. Je vais écouter de la musique

Yes... j'ai joué des buffers, latence.. au final, le système se débrouille et la musique joue

C'est bien le log HOST depuis GP
Avec diretta host config Debug=stdout

et finalement avec le log en live la musique ne s’arrête pas, et j'ai ces valeurs.

Pour lever tout doute j'ai fait une mesure sur 1h10 de musique sur mon système (Fedora 42/mpd avec syncAlsa_gcc15_x86_zen4) et le Lucia avec une interface usb->rj-45. Connexion avec jumbo-frames à 16k.

Vous noterez le niveau de 'jitter' ie standard deviation extrêmement faible de variation du cycle. C'est remarquable.

Finalement, après ajout d’une carte RJ45 compatible 2,5G sur le serveur + achat d’un nouveau convertisseur USB/RJ45 pour le DST-00...DDS3 + MTU 16k activé 



Le gap est réel par rapport au MTU 9k chez moi aussi 

 Reste plus qu’à essayer d’optimiser les paramètres Diretta   et écouter

Après une semaine chez moi, et une vrai séance d'écoute hier soir.
Je peux affirmer que c'est topissime !


J'avais prévu de tester la liaison Host target en 10Gbps mais je n'en ai plus envie.

Moi j'ai réussi un MTU 9000 sur Holo Red et c'est génial
Je continue de creuser sur mon blocage côté host à 9000
Donc plus de limite à 1500 sur CM4
Grâce au kernel 6.12.59 et son patch broadcom.

Ton Holo Red est relié en direct au NUC ou tu passes par ta box/routeur entre les 2 ?
