We are pleased to announce the release of the PD-507T, a CD transport from the Reference 500 series.

The PD-507T is a CD transport equipped with TEAC’s proprietary high-fidelity CD mechanism. By focusing exclusively on pure digital output without incorporating a DAC, it allows users to enjoy high-quality CD playback with various audio systems equipped with digital inputs, including the Reference 500 series.

The CD transport mechanism is based on the TEAC CD-5020A, which has a proven track record in broadcasting stations for many years. Building on this durable and reliable mechanism, we have achieved even higher sound quality by combining a semi-floating mount structure and a dedicated drive circuit for the Reference 500 series. It also supports 10MHz external clock input, allowing sound quality upgrades by connecting to the CG-10M-X master clock generator.

A new function has been added to turn off unused digital outputs. By separating the power supply for the clock and digital output, and retuning the details of the electrical circuits and mechanical construction, we have achieved even higher sound quality compared to previous models. Additionally, we have adopted the amber-colored full-dot OLED display shared with the 507 series, including the UD-507, as well as control terminals (12V trigger in/through out), enhancing system usability.

Par rapport au TEAC PD-505T sorti il y a à peine deux ans ? La/les différences principales  ?  Couleur ambre au lieu de bleu pour l'afficheur par exemple et trigger 12V aussi ...
