Bonjour à tous,
débutant dans la hifi, j'ai comme vous un Node 2i, avec un IN200+ enceinte Davis 90 et je souhaite améliorer mon systéme.
J'ai suivi avec intérêt vos échange concernant l'évolution carte et alim du Node.
Faut il mettre l'argent dans cette évolution ou dans un DAC entre node et ampli de type TOPPING DX7 PRO par exemple, effectivement un peu plus cher????? si d’ailleurs vous avez un avis sur le DAC a choisir, je suis aussi preneur.
Ne connaissant pas l'apport de ses deux solutions, je ne suis pas en mesure de juger, voir totalement perdu et je n'ai pas la possibilité d'aller écouter, surtout en ce moment.

On my example, I can say that the power change also raised the DAC built into Node. I then tried to put some different DACs in the kit.
I play: Node 2i + psu, Lyngdorf SDAI2175 amp, Monitor Audio Silver100 speakers, and then i tried to put the following DAC's and compare them to Node analog output. Input levels were equalized and I switched the SDAI inputs.
- Matrix Mini Pro 2s - no changes at all
- Topping Dx7Pro - no noticeable improvements, too sharp in my set
- Topping D70 - barely noticeable changes, but was it an improvement? I'm not sure
- Topping D90 - it improved, it filled and slightly differentiated the sound, also the sound came closer
I also tried to compare some smartTV box source and Bluetooth P20 Pro as source - both connected by Topping D90 and differences to Node2i were noticeable.
At this moment, best way is to wait for the opinion of others who have already passed this PSU path. The topic has just moved and you have to wait a few days for feedback.

Yes. Node connected to my amp thru D90 and XLR goes better then Node connected directly. But as I wrote above, for example the D70 in this set was not worth the money, it did not bring anything significant compared to Node direct connection.
Of course, the input sensitivity in my amp is set so that the volume on XLR and RCA is equal.

Si on veut entendre une différence avec un DAC externe, il faut dépenser un peu de sous.
Les habitués le savent mais il est bon de le rappeler à ceux qui débutent en démat.

The main difference is that on the D90 that the midrange is pushed to the listener, vocals and instruments are closer, with better air.

I started the adventure with stereo for half a year, it seems to me that as a first DAC it is not bad
especially since I am going to open it and also look into its power supply.

Im comparing only direct Node connection, or by D90. There was a question about Dx7Pro, so I described my experiences. Probably more expensive DAC would be better, but not everyone can afford it. I didnt hear any other dacs, so i cant compare it with any other.

Le D90 a certes un bon rapport Q/P mais ton DAC 300 doit aller bien plus loin dans la finesse et la subtilité

ok, merci, thank you, pour ces avis, ce n'est pas si évident que ça, donc:
soit j'améliore l'alimentation du NODE soit je mets 2500€ pour l'achat d'un DAC 300 ATOLL
mais d'après CONDOR 64 avec le DAC 300 la différence parait minime? ça m'étonne on est déjà sur un très bon DAC
même en prenant un DAC 200 ATOLL( moins chere) la différence ne sera pas flagrante, d'après vous?
avez vous d'autre DAC a proposer ? ou un RME ADI..........
