Hello r11bordo,
as for comfort and operability I'd prefer one powering device with one on/off button instead of two devices that need to be plugged off and recharged externally. Nevertheless it should not be compromised in terms of voltage quality. The Ciunas ISO-PS seems do be quite promising providing clean voltage out of two outlets and having automatic trickle charge technology on board – the open question being how much shared grounds might degrade the idea of providing clean battery power to the clean side of Digione signature.
This is what I hoped Alain might be able to test with his battery.

P.S. @ Alain: Worst case would be your RPi would not start in case 2A would not be enough. There is nothing that could get broken by trying.
