Thank you for your e-mail.
We actually did a couple of DSD transfers from original analog tapes for a few popular backcatalog titles for SACD releases in Japan.
And there are plans to make such DSD files also available for digital download at services like Qobuz or Highresaudio at some point. Our digital distributor still has to set up the technical delivery structure to make this possible.
However, to be clear, this applies only to old recordings from the analog era. All digital ECM recordings, including new releases, are not recorded in DSD but in PCM, and can therefore not be offered in DSD format. But there are further developments on the PCM side as well, namely to switch from the current standard of 24 bit and 96 kHz to 32 bit and 192 kHz.
