Spotify Connect is supported on the Solo, so you can stream directly to the unit without using Google Home. Be aware that you must use either AirPlay or Google Home to do the network setup. This depends on the phone/tablet that you use.
For Qobuz, we will recommend using Google Home, if you wish the best quality as 24-bit / 96kHz is supported via Chromecast (Google Home). You can also use AirPlay 2, but "only" 16-bit / 44.1 kHz is supported via AirPlay 2.
