conclusions : "NAD C298 or Purifi EVAL1? Well... very dull, but both are a good choice. the Purifi homebrew kit can't be beat price-wise. However, the NAD plays a bit more spacious and slightly 'rounder' than the EVAL1. NAD also offers more connection options and can be switched to mono. In short: a little more possibilities. But again 700 euros more. However, even with a price tag of 2000 euros the NAD is almost unbeatable. We know of no amplifier that can make mincemeat of the NAD C298. And not even the Purifi EVAL1 by the way... Both highly recommended."
