hi, I am bodiebill from The Netherlands. I have posted before on other forums like Audiophile Style. As this French forum discusses in depth some subjects that I am interested in (such as Diretta), I hope you do not mind that I made an account here and will post my comments and questions in English.
Below my current setup, but I cannot guarantee that it wil stay the same :-)
server/control point: WIn 10 PC with Aplayer (Russian Album Player) and Diretta host (ASIO)
renderer: RPi4 + Pi2AES with GentooPlayer in RAM with Diretta target (PCM192, DSD64 DoP), or alternatively:
- SOtM sMS-200ultra Neo (Elite Audio edition with 10 MHz / 75 Ohm clock in) with eunhasu, upmpdcli/mpd (PCM768, DSD512)
- NUC with wtfplay (PCM384, DSD512)
convolution: Acourate filters via Aplayer ConvolverVST or offline convolution with JRiver
additional timing: Audio-GD DI-20HE DDC + Afterdark Emperor Double Crown 75 Ohm 10MHz reference clock
DAC & preamp: Holo Audio Spring 3 Level 2 with preamp module
power amp: Reimyo KAP-777
speakers: TAD ME1 speakers + dual SVS 3000 micro subs
headphones: Taket H2 + TR2
power: Paul Hynes SR4T 5-12V; Paul Hynes SR4 9-19V; Afterdark Black Modernize dual 12V; Shunyata Hydra 4 power conditioner; Oyaide power block; cables VH Audio, Losless, Harmonix & DIY (all US plugs albeit used in EU)
digital cables: USB Phasure Lush^2; coax Oyaide DR-510; BNC Oyaide DB-510 & Afterdark; HDMI/I2S Phasure hdmi^2 & Wireworld Chroma 7; AES/EBU Nordost Heimdall 2
analogue cables: balanced interlink Driade 808 XLR; speaker cables Fidelium with its biwire adapters
network connection between server and renderer: Win10 PC > CAT7 > MikroTik 305 switch > SFP (15m) > MikroTik 106 switch > CAT7 > Delock 62619 > DIY CAT6 (5cm) > target/renderer
streaming service for casual listening: Qobuz using BubbleUPnP or mconnect into Aplayer renderer Diretta or sMS-200 upmpdcli/mpd
music library management: JRiver MC
