Pour info, j'ai posé la question au rédacteur de savoir comment se positionnait cet Aries Mini combiné à son dac (Chord Hugo QDB76), comparativement au Sonos tweaké de Magna Hifi (il l'avait précédemment testé). Voici sa réponse :
"I haven't A/B'ed the Magna Sonos and the Auralic Mini against each other. But my (educated) guess is that the Magna Sonos performs somewhat better than the Mini (mind you, they are both very good!). But it is, of course, limited to 48 kHz and number of tracks that can be indexed."
Je confirme : le Sonos modifié par Magna est un bon lecteur ! (au moins pour qui se "contente" comme moi du 16 bits :-))
