Patching Cat5e, ai-je besoin d’une barre de câble?

I have a cabinet directly in front of a bundle of about 63 Cat5e cables hanging from a ceiling. My plan was to get a 72 port patch panel, mount it on the top of the cabinet, and patch cables directly. But I see a lot of people using cable management bars that run the cable to the left or right of the rack. Is this something I should do if my cabinet is already centered where the Cat5e cables are coming down? As the panel is at the top of the cabinet, it should not interfere with any equipment under the panel.
