Conclusion. The Lumin M1 is an all-in-one performer twice over. The first round is won because it provides all the functions of the playback chain up to the speakers. The second round is won because it exhibits all the key attributes one expects of high-end audio gear: high resolution, real drive and well thought-out ergonomics. "What else?" might Mr. Clooney wonder. Perhaps energy savings. It's not what I would call "the ultimate weapon to target the very highest of audiophile ecstasy". But the Lumin M1 almost recreates performances which many audiophiles still dream about despite having spent far more already and well more than twice over. I could very honestly live forever happily with the Lumin M1 and my Vivid Giya G1. Invest less money into electronics to maximize your available budget dedicated to loudspeakers? Perhaps that's really the sly core message hidden behind this newest member of the Pixel Magic family.
