I really love the magical craftsmanship in the books and always though Kvothe should have combined his musical talent with it.
So here is my Idea: Sylgaldric Instruments
Instruments that have runes in ways to improve them in many ways. For example having runes that are combine with wooden boxes to create magical speakers or tuners.
